Praslin

Praslin, Seychelles — the archipelago's second-largest island, home to the primeval Vallée de Mai palm forest and the impossibly photogenic Anse Lazio beach.

Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage forest, is one of only two places on Earth where the giant coco de mer palm grows wild — its double-lobed seed is the world's largest. Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette beaches, framed by granite boulders, are short taxi or boat rides away, and Praslin is also the launch point for day trips to La Digue.
